About this class

Complete a California Secretary of State-approved course to become a notary. Gain the latest information to pass the state exam and perform your duties accurately. This is a great way to earn extra money, start a business, or enhance your career. The class fee includes a 70-page manual, certificate of completion and sample forms. Check-in begins at 8:00 AM with a photo ID. Register with a valid email address. No late admissions are allowed (State requirement). The state exam is conducted the same day at 4:00 PM (in-person classes only). You must meet eligibility requirements, For complete requirements, please visit https://www.sos.ca.gov/notary/qualifications/ Bring your Government issued photo I.D. (e.g. your CA driver’s license or CA identification card).
