About this class

Course Description Join us on an artistic adventure where creativity meets sustainability! In Eco Explorers, your young artist will discover how to turn everyday recycled materials into amazing works of art. From bottle caps to cardboard, students learn how to see the potential in what others might throw away, transforming these items into unique sculptures, collages, and mixed media masterpieces. This camp is all about being creative while caring for the planet, showing that art can be both fun and eco-friendly. By the end of the week, campers will have created a collection of upcycled art pieces that show how easy it is to turn trash into treasure! IMPORTANT: $40 Materials Kit: Students should purchase the relevant Materials Kit with enrollment of this course which provides students with course materials required for participation. All students enrolled in Summer Youth Camps must submit the following packet of Summer Youth Camp Child Pickup Authorization prior to admittance into the classroom. Students will not be permitted to attend without this. Note(s): Campers who wish to experience a full day of camp can attend both Beyond the Brush: Experimental Painting Techniques (Morning) and Eco Explorers: Art from Recycled Treasures (Afternoon), please enroll here. Full-day camps include lunch supervision and outside activities between 12:15pm and 12:45pm daily. You will need to upload a photo and insurance card in order to register for youth courses.
