Fashion Design Studio: Ages 9-12

About this class

Course Description Uncover the secrets of fashion design and dive into the world of fashion, learning everything from sketching and illustration to concept development and garment construction. Explore the entire design process behind creating finished collections, experimenting with drawing and painting techniques to bring ideas to life. By studying existing brands and designers, students gain inspiration to develop their own unique fashion concepts. By the end of the camp, campers have hand-drawn illustrations and a completed garment showcasing their creativity and fashion sense! Note(s): Full-day camps include lunch supervision and outside activities between 12:15pm and 12:45pm daily. IMPORTANT: $40 Materials Kit: Students should purchase the relevant Materials Kit with enrollment of this course which provides students with course materials required for participation. All students enrolled in Summer Youth Camps must submit the following packet of Summer Youth Camp Child Pickup Authorization prior to admittance into the classroom. Students will not be permitted to attend without this. You will need to upload a photo and insurance card in order to register for youth courses.
