About this class

Course Description Get ready to design and sculpt amazing 3D creations! In this camp, young artists will use their imagination and observation skills to explore a range of materials like clay, plaster, wire, wood, cardboard, and found objects. Inspired by modern and contemporary artists from around the world, students learn how to build and shape ideas into unique 3D art. Through hands-on experimentation, collaboration, and playful invention, campers develop artistic skills and gain a new appreciation for working in 3D. By the end of the week, there will be a collection of innovative mixed-media sculptures to show off! IMPORTANT: $40 Materials Kit: A $40 materials fee is included in the camp tuition. All students enrolled in Summer Youth Camps must submit the following packet of Summer Youth Camp Child Pickup Authorization prior to admittance into the classroom. Students will not be permitted to attend without this. Note(s): Campers who wish to experience a full day of camp can attend both Inventive Environments (Morning) and Mixed Media and Clay (Afternoon), please enroll here. Full-day camps include lunch supervision and outside activities between 12:15pm and 12:45pm daily. You will need to upload a photo and insurance card in order to register for youth courses.
