Art Adventures: Science and Technology: Ages 5-8
About this class
Course Description Discover the exciting crossroads of art, science, and technology and explore how these fields come together in design, architecture, environments, and digital media. You’ll tinker with materials both on and off the computer, experimenting with new techniques to create cool and innovative 2D and 3D art. Working individually and in teams, invent, create, and solve problems, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. By the end of the week, campers will have a collection of inventive projects IMPORTANT: $40 Materials Kit: A $40 materials fee is included in the camp tuition. All students enrolled in Summer Youth Camps must submit the following packet of Summer Youth Camp Child Pickup Authorization prior to admittance into the classroom. Students will not be permitted to attend without this. Note(s): Campers who wish to experience a full day of camp can attend both Art Adventures: Science and Technology (Morning) and Creating Art from Nature: Homes and Habitats (Afternoon), please enroll here. Full-day camps include lunch supervision and outside activities between 12:15pm and 12:45pm daily. You will need to upload a photo and insurance card in order to register for youth courses.
