About this class

Course Description Explore the natural world and design amazing homes and habitats and find inspiration from the diverse homes of insects, animals, amphibians, and reptiles. Using a mix of 2D and 3D artistic processes, including drawing, painting, printing, and sculpting, create unique and imaginative environments. By studying various artists inspired by nature, campers experiment with different materials and techniques to design artistic habitats. This camp blends art and science, helping discover the beauty of nature through creative expression! IMPORTANT: $40 Materials Kit: A $40 materials fee is included in the camp tuition. All students enrolled in Summer Youth Camps must submit the following packet of Summer Youth Camp Child Pickup Authorization prior to admittance into the classroom. Students will not be permitted to attend without this. Note(s): Campers who wish to experience a full day of camp can attend both Art Adventures: Science and Technology (Morning) and Creating Art from Nature: Homes and Habitats (Afternoon), please enroll here. Full-day camps include lunch supervision and outside activities between 12:15 and 1 pm daily. You will need to upload a photo and insurance card in order to register for youth courses.
