About this class
Course Description This introductory course is designed to familiarize students with the fundamental techniques, concepts, and painting materials. Through hands-on practice and guided instruction, students explore various painting styles, mediums, and methods, focusing on developing their artistic voice. They approach painting with experimentation and creativity while building a foundation in color theory, composition, and brushwork. This course provides a strong foundation for students interested in furthering their studies in painting or other visual arts disciplines. Notes: Tuition includes a non-refundable $200 deposit per course. IMPORTANT: All students enrolled in Summer of Art must submit the following Enrollment Agreement prior to admittance into the classroom. Students will not be permitted to attend without this. You will need to upload a photo and insurance card in order to register for youth courses.
