Course Description Discover the art and practice of functional ceramics by creating ceramics designed for use in daily life. Through hands-on projects, students explore craftsmanship, form, and functionality, encouraging students to consider how objects are used in real situations while developing their own aesthetic voice. Students investigate the relationship between design and utility as they develop practical and decorative ceramic techniques. Course Fee: A $35 course fee is built into the tuition of this course. Notes: Firing provided with health and safety measures. An initial supply of clay is included with enrollment in this 10-week course. This course is non-refundable. Once the course has been purchased, no refunds will be granted. Prerequisites None
