About this class
Course Description Learn what is behind the golden triangle rule of kitchen design. In this course, students develop fundamental knowledge to produce residential kitchen layouts, designs, and finished schedules. Through weekly presentations, lectures, and critiques, students learn to sketch and produce multiple floor plans and elevation solutions. Topics include complementary precepts of form and function; budget and building code; dynamics of designer client relationships; and practical tips for trade sequencing. Through referencing and collecting their own trade publication resources, they produce multiple floor plans and elevation solutions. Prerequisites Specific coursework required for Certificate Students, all other students should have equivalent experience.
